Mr. Franco is the founder and President of Franco & Acra Tecniseguros. Graduated in Finance from the Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo (UASD), with a vast professional trayectory in insurance of more than 40 years and valuable contributions to the insurance community, locally and throughout Latin America, having been the first Dominican to occupy the presidency of Confederacion Panamericana de Productores de Seguros ( COPAPROSE).

Has been professor of Banking Administration in the Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra and also has taugh diverse subjects of insurance in the Institute of Professional Formation of the Insurance Producer with seat in Central America. He has been asked to spaek in multiple professional seminars of insurance that have been developed in diverse countries of Latin America and Spain. He was also founding President of the Dominican Association of Insurance Brokers ( ADOCOSE).

Mr. Acra is also founder of Franco & Acra Tecniseguros, where occupies the position of Executice Vice President. He graduated in Accounting and Business Administration and he counts with an experience in insurance of more than 36 years, having previously occupied important positions in prestigious banking organizations of the country.

Ex-member of the Board of directors of the AmericanChamber of Commerce and the Institute of Authorized Public Accountants of the Dominican Republic. He has been in the board of numerous institutions such as the Board of directors of CENAPEC, the Dominica Foundation of Development, Inc., the Loyocan Foundation and others.

Mr. Valdez graduated in Bussiness Administration and for more than 32 years he has been active in the Dominican insuring sector, occupying al the moment the position of Vice-president in Franco & Acra Tecniseguros.

Mr. Valdez has participated in numerous specialized seminaries in the Dominican Republic and outside the country and also he has been speaker of various insurance seminars, including specialized courses in areas such as Bussiness Interruption and Crime Policies. He has also published numerous insurance articles in the economic press and specialized magazines and earned awards for these.

In 1996 he was the winner of the " Premio de Investigacion Nacional de Seguros" granted by Compañia Nacional de Seguros.

He has been President of the Dominican Association of Insurance Brokers and is also member of the Advisory board of Insurance of the Dominican Republic.

Mrs. Acra has a bachelors degree in Business Administration from the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) and a Masters Degree in Insurance and Finance from the University of Hartford , Connecticut. Also has a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Universite du Québec a Montreal and APEC University.

Laura Acra is responsible for assuring that the company utilizes and allocates efficiently the necessary resources to guarantee a professional service to our customers, and the effectiveness of the company’s organizational structure design and processes  alignment with corporate strategy.

She is a Member of the National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE), member of the Board of Directors of the Progressio Foundation, Secretary of the Board of Regents of INTEC and member of the American Chamber of Commerce.

Mrs. Acra has a bachelors degree on Industrial Engineer of the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM),  and has an MBA in Georgetown University, completing her knowledge with an extensive program of technical and management training.

She arrives to the company in March 1999, since then has held various positions such as Director of International Accounts, Director of Claims, always delivering excellent results.  She is currently the 2nd Vice-President of the firm.

Over 25 years of services in the company, Mr. Rosa is responsible for the business area whose aim is the growth of the company.

Member of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Dominican Republic and member of the environmental institution “Acción Pro- Constanza”. With his broad professional experience, he has contributed to our company with knowledgeable skills in Products Design and special insurance forms such as Business Interruption for Hotels Occupation, SuperCar, and additional research studies on Insurance subjects.

Mr. Armando Rojas has a degree in Accounting and is a member of the ICPARD association. Throughout his professional career at this company he has achieved over 25 years managing significant contributions in the areas of accounting, commissions and technical direction.

Currently has responsibility for overseeing the specialized areas of risk and the planning and maintenance of the client`s insurance programs.

Patricia Pierre has under her supervision the organizational areas of Information Technology, Finance, Health & Life Insurance Area, and the Administrative Services of the company, contributing to the company excellent achievements such as the design and implementation of the Automated Insurance Management System and the operational systems of the company since 1993.

Bachelor Degree in Computing Systems with Customer Service Management Diploma and a Master degree in Business Administration from the Universite du Québec a Montreal and APEC University. Patricia Pierre is former member of the Technology Committee in the Advisory Board of Insurance, member of the Graduates Member of INTEC and member of the American Chamber of Commerce.
